Session: 1 (Monday )  

THEME: New vocabulary  words.

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (activación del brazo), Spell three words, Copy Homework.

 CURRICULAR AREAS:

KiVa lesson 2 In a Group

 SUBAREA
Writing and representing
Numbers
Goals and decisions.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words.
 Describes how to take someone in.
Uses a goal-setting process.

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Answers on their notebook and illustration of their working in group.
ACTIVITIES: 1.In pairs talk about how do you take someone in your group. (15min.)
2. Complete the comic strip about joining a group. (10min.)
3. Post in Facebook your work. (10min.)
4. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 1 to 5 week 24 one time. ( ad- add, ate-eight, eye-I, son-sun, law-low ) (10min.) 
5. Illustrate each one with a small drawing. (10 min.)
 
6. Write the homework on homework section. (10 min)

7. Participate in JVS 33 Anniversary.

THEME: Reading Comprehension, new vocabulary words

DAILY ROUTINE: Date, Brain Gym (activación del brazo), Mental Math, Copy Homework.

DESIRED OUTCOMES (PLOS)
 Interacts with others for the purposes of compare the story with a movie, TV program or another book.  
Uses recognizable letters when writing familiar words. 

DESIRED EVIDENCE (final products): Reading comprehension work published in Facebook and Twitter. Students new vocabulary words written on the notebook.

ACTIVITIES: 1.  Daily routine. Date, We learn…, Brain Gym (activación del brazo), Spell 3 words, Copy Homework. (30min.)
2. Kids enter scholasticlearningzone.com to read the story “ Around the World in Eighty Days” by Jules Verne ( 10 min. )
3. Compare it with another story, TV program  or movie and illustrate it using the iPad . ( 20 min. )
4. Share your work in Facebook and Twitter. ( 20 min. )
5. Copy on your vocabulary notebook, vocabulary words 6 to 10 week 24 one time.( buy-bye, knew-new, which-witch,pea-pee, peace-piece ) ( 10 min. )
6. Illustrate each one with a small drawing. ( 10 min. )
7. Write the homework in homework section. ( 10 min)
